The Cargill Centre

This former Victorian primary school at the heart of Kilmacolm was converted into a magnificent new multi user campus in 2011, comprising of:

  • a 3 storey Community Centre with a range of meeting rooms, multi purpose halls and cafe.
  • a single storey Library
  • a 2 storey commercial space
  • a new village square

The centre is managed by a board of volunteers, with staffing provided by Inverclyde Leisure, supported by Inverclyde Council. It is named The Cargill Centre in recognition of one of the main project funders, The WA Cargill Fund.
