Model of overall proposal, looking from port glasgow road towards the cross note the new car park access opening from bridge of weir road

The following are impressions of roughly how car access/egress will work

Traffic removed from front pedestrian entrance by having one way through car park new, safer, one way entrance off bridge of weir road, opposite moss road at the highest point of the site. In practice this opening would be wider to allow better visibility for pedestrians and vehicles. New, safer, one way exit on to lochwinnoch road, at the lowest point of the site. This scheme would allow the car park to remain almost as it is, at the rear, and out of the streetscape. It will also offer some additional parking spaces, over the current 52.
Original sandstone gate pillars both retained
exit lane
Unused, derelict lane will become an ideal exit road
